I haven't seen many threads at all regarding SAM-e as a nootropic. (I've been taking it for a week so far, 400mg for thee days, then up to 800 at this point. No effects felt yet.)
Any thoughts /experiences?

SAM-e is fairly unstable.
Moisture, temperature, light, and time will affect its potency. If things like that aren't in the picture, then maybe you're a non-responder.
When I worked at GNC, some people brought back this product, and we'd either throw it away or keep it for ourselves.
I love its color (and mood) brightening effect. Quite a contrast it would make to my perception, yes.
