I haven't seen many threads at all regarding SAM-e as a nootropic. (I've been taking it for a week so far, 400mg for thee days, then up to 800 at this point. No effects felt yet.)
Any thoughts /experiences?

A high-quality stabilized SAMe in blister packs does a great job of increasing my energy and improving my mood. I am a poor methyl donor, though. Those that are normal methylators may not feel as much of an effect.
Although it's expensive. I'd say worth it for people that are genetically poor methylators, but not for normal people.
