Why is folic acid dangerous for undermethylators? Have read some posts saying it is bad, but few reasons why.

That went a bit over my head. I can't get into a good Dr. until next month, but meanwhile I've got a worthless primary care that is really good at doing only the stuff I specifically request. I'd like to be prepared... is there any other blood tests you might suggest other than vitamin panel, homocysteine, and MMA?

There is actually a methylation pathway panel you can have done. That would be the best one to start with.
