My Unique Perspective on Modafinil

So I've been taking Modafinil for the past 11-12 days straight. I've used varying doses of 100-200mg per day. I think that it is a wonderful supplement to use but it also has some significant downsides. It's not a cure-all "use everyday" sort of thing, for me at least.
My first day taking it was amazing. I felt engaged, alert, and focused throughout my entire day. I destroyed an interview that I went into, full of confidence. Everything was good. So I kept taking varying doses of Modafinil (100-200mg) throughout the past week, every single day. I think extremely indepthly ALL day long on this shit. I retain information like a beast. I'm constantly brainstorming and can't turn my mind off. I love that feeling, when I'm always on top of my mental game. It's a great feeling to be a sharp as I've ever been throughout my life (I've always suffered from extreme ADD even while in middle school, to this day in college). I finally feel like I can maintain trains of thoughts and have normal extensive conversations with people, without getting lost in ADD world or becoming distracted by a squirrel. By the way I hate the feeling of using Adderall, Vyvanse and Ritalin, those are all terrible…

I don't know the cost I paid when I received modafinil under insurance, but it came with some form of copay as I recall. It was more than adderall or dextroamphetamine, but it was severely discounted.

I have PPO, so I pay 80% up until I hit my $1,500 deductible. Then they pay 100%. It's good for years that I have a lot of costs. For normal years it's kind of expensive.
