Noopept making me boring?

Original post in this thread

throwawaynootropics · 18 points

I didn't realize this until I introduced a friend to nootropics. Giving him sine samples abd letting him get to know products. He asked me about something "is this what makes you so monotone?"

And I realized maybe I am. I've been on noopept for months straight now, and maybe I've become just some boring, semi emotionless robot from constant use. It's still my favorite nootropic, but has anyone else felt this way?

Edit: this is a throwaway account so I won't be posting my full stack if asked (identifiable)

Ok now that I know I'm not the only one I can switch back to /u/chyckun

Also, how long do you break? And what do you do to replace them during that break?

u/MisterYouAreSoDumb · Ceretropic

Haha, no need for throwaways for something like this. Multiple people have said they have this effect.

I took a month break, and now only take them occasionally. I replaced them with adaptogens like Bacopa, Rhodiola, Ashwagandha, and Saint John's Wort.

Then I would suggest attacking it from a more natural approach. Supplement L-phenylalanine for dopamine, and tryptophan for serotonin. You can have some NALT around for short term boosts of dopamine, as I find that to be

No problem! Why ConsumerLab decided to test our product for something it is not even standardized to, then not test everyone else for the stuff we are standardized to, is beyond me. Why not test everyone for theobromine

5 days of 3 x 1.6g piracetam use. Still no effect?

Replying to jrhsk8 · Anecdotal evidence seems to indicate it's less subtle than that, but I feel like I would notice it if it really did something. If it is really so unnoticeable, is it even worth it?

To be honest, if you are going into this with the thought that you are going to get rapid and noticeable changes, then you are going to be let down more times that you can count. Nootropics are about finding what works w

I'd suggest rhodiola as well. Take that when you wake up, and it promotes wakefulness very well. I take it to help with my daytime sleepiness. Also, it helps balance out the bacopa, as I find that it can sometimes make m
