I thought piperine was relatively selective for CYP3A4. In fact, I believe that it metabolizes into piperidine, which is a CYP2D6 inducer. After some more searching, I am even more unsure. None of the studies I can find quantify the CYP2D6 inhibition. They just mention the selectivity for CYP3A4.

If you are really concerned with the CYP2D6 inhibition, then take some valarian root with it.
