Has anyone tried Excelerol? I'm interested in trying it because it is apparently one of the best nootropics out there, but I'm a bit suspicious because I've never heard anyone talk about it on this subreddit.

Ray Kurzweil sells it on his website, and I trust that he knows what he is talking about. Yet I can't help shake the feeling that it is a scam. Has anyone tried it? What did you think? Is it worth the money?

Yeah, so...
Guarana is at most 22% caffeine naturally which would result in a 350mg dosage of caffeine. Even if we assume that they have a 50% caffeine concentration for guarana (some processing techniques can do this) that would leave 175mg left in the capsule for all that other shit.
That means peppermint oil, huperzine A, and vinpocetine would be the only things that would fit in at the active doses then; everything else needs 500mg or so, and even then six pills probably wouldn't be enough.

Yeah, I thought about that too. It does say guarana extract, though. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and calculated it outright. In reality it's probably much less than that. It does say 75mg caffeine. So perhaps it's even a greater concentration of guarana to reach that level.
I would not be surprised if some of the ingredients had 10mg or less just to put them on the label. It seems to be a trend. It's unfortunate, as many people fall for it.
