They do not do the same thing. D-serine is a potent full agonist of NMDA at the glycine binding site. D-cycloserine is only a partial agonist at the glycine site. This makes D-serine much more dangerous when speaking in the context we are, as excitotoxicity is a very real danger.
Please don't take the D-serine you purchased.

EDIT: Also, D-serine does not pass the blood brain barrier very well, so it's kind of a waste anyway. Intranasal would be the only way to get significant amounts into your brain, and I highly advise against that.
