Got an impressive shipment of various racetams yesterday and today is day II of experimenting with all of them. Took quite a variety today, then about two hours ago I gook pramiracetam. I just woke up in my bed. I don't remember going to sleep. Anyone experience anything similar?

I took quite a bit of racetams today for my second day experimenting (previous experience only with phenylpiracetam). I started with 11mg Sunifiram early in the AM, about three hours later 800mg Oxiracetam, several hours later 515mg Nefiracetam, then several hours later 30mg Noopept, then finally 333mg Pramiracetam. Then I guess I got unbelievably tired (I remember feeling tired) then passed out for an hour and a half. I don't remember getting into bed. Was I just fatigued from other things, or could my copious consumption of nootropics have played a role in this? I feel great now, so I'm not too worried. It was still a bit surprising waking up.

I did only get seven hours of sleep last night, and I'm used to 8-9 hours. I also started lifting weights again yesterday, and I started taking creatine yesterday. Maybe I was genuinely fatigued and nootropics played no role in this.

Again, I'm not particularly worried, all vitals seem normal and have been all day. I have been known to have a "nap attack" now and then, so it could have just been an intense one of those.

Mmmm very true. But regardless, if you were to take baseline measurements of calories burned of a large population, then compare it to that same population on racetams, wouldn't it give you some idea?

Possibly. I'm not sure how accurate that would be. I'm sure there is a more direct way of measuring ATP consumption. It might have to be in vitro, though.

In this study, we first used capillary electrophoresis-time-of-flight mass spectrometry (CE-TOF MS) and the original ATeam method to determine ATP levels in cells infected with HCV or replicating HCV RNA. Using these methods, together with an ATP consumption assay, we demonstrated that ATP is actively consumed in cells in which viral RNA replicates, leading to a reduction in cytoplasmic ATP compared to parental cells. To further understand the fluctuation and distribution of ATP in HCV replicating cells, we developed a system to monitor ATP at putative subcellular sites of HCV RNA replication in single living cells by applying ATeam technology to the subgenomic replicon system. Our results show that, in viral RNA-replicating cells, ATP levels are elevated at distinct dot-like structures that may play a supportive role in HCV RNA replication, while cytoplasmic levels of ATP decrease.

You might try looking more into the specifics of how they measured the ATP usage.

Any intermittent-fasters here? When do you take your Noots?

Replying to Iscariot- · Yeah no shit. I’ve had this same thought for years, no idea why it’s not a thing. Psssst u/MisterYouAreSoDumb

It's way more complex than anyone here realizes. Also, just because something is fat soluble does NOT mean you need to take it with fat to absorb. I have ranted about that many times on here. Take aniracetam for example.

My Pramiracetam is just a solid crystal. Was I supposed to store it below room temperature, or is there something wrong with it?

Replying to ParMatrix · That does not look right.
