After all of my nootropic experience I have only one question to this community.

Why would any one seeking clarity of mind consume alcohol or marijuana?
Edit: I should've know that reddits absolute affinity for pot was too grand. Marijuana diminishes short term memory. Alcohol is poison. Both of these statements are fact based on countless studies. Do I really have to resort to sourcing. I can't help but be snarky when someone makes a case for alcohol on a nootropic form.
Edit2: I've consumed Marijuana in the past, in fact a fair amount. I've also had a number of profound psychedelic experiences. What I'm not about to do is advocate their use as a nootropic of common use. I see so many marijuana based responces and post on this sub. This isn't r/drug.

Use and experimentation are two completely different activities. How large of a sample size does one need to conclude that you get high when marijuana is consumed.

So are you more referring to regular use then? You said consume. I've consumed marijuana, but I do not regularly use it. I do not like that particular altered state of mind on a regular basis.
However, I accept that some people do. I cannot relate 100% to their state of mind, so I just assume they are getting something from it that I am not.
