Hi Nootropic community, I am 27 year old male. I’ve lost my white collar job and had to take an overnight warehouse job and after researching what can help me stay awake – I came across Modafinil. I’ve been taking it for the last 4 months (half a tablet or 1 tablet max per workday, taking 2-3 days off) I do manual mind numbing work that does not require too much brain, I took this job to do something while I am looking for a good job (the job I went college for) and of course for some cash. It depends on what your goals are. Something that works for me is listening to deep ambient music, like the stuff from Atticus Ross. It's calming but with a layer of drama at the same time. Then I force myself think about what I want. Then sometimes I meditate for like 10 minutes, stretch, then go for a mountain bike ride. You can use the trivial motivation from your physical activity to translate into your other goals.
