Hi Nootropic community, I am 27 year old male. I’ve lost my white collar job and had to take an overnight warehouse job and after researching what can help me stay awake – I came across Modafinil. I’ve been taking it for the last 4 months (half a tablet or 1 tablet max per workday, taking 2-3 days off) I do manual mind numbing work that does not require too much brain, I took this job to do something while I am looking for a good job (the job I went college for) and of course for some cash. Taking Modafinil actually helps me keep sane. I am not constantly in my head thinking how much this job sucks.

I do my job well and I think that it definitely helps people like me, who need it to keep awake. About a week ago I’ve ran out of Modafinil and what I’ve noticed is that while on it I am very awake and concentrated on the job at hand, it’s like being in the moment all the time. It’s like being mesmerized, nothing but this moment exist. Might sound good, but it took all the planning away.

Because of M. the job that should’ve been a pit stop on my life’s journey and intended to be shitty to motivate me to advance becoming more permanent every passing day . With the help of M. thi…

That's because everyone's internal motivation is going to come from different places. It's going to come down to some stimuli pushing your consciousness past the point of comfort. You need to figure out what that stimuli is, then consciously use it to your advantage. Some use guilt. Some use pleasure. Some use excitement. That feeling that pulls you from your comfort zone is going to vary wildly from person to person.

It's time to have the Modafinil talk again.

It's been seven months since I made this post: http://www.reddit.com/r/Nootropics/comments/199n7l/modafinil_posts/ We had a lull in the modafinil posts for a while, but now they are back in full swing. I just want to re

Here to warn the community that I've experienced debilitating rebound anxiety when taking l-theanine. It was 100 percent this substance. Quit a week ago and back to baseline. Theanine is going in the trash.

Found Nootropics in sons room.

Talk to him about it. Modalet is just Modafinil. It is a lot safer than the Amphetamine he is on for ADHD. However, he should make sure you are okay with everything he is doing. You are his parent, afterall. But you need
