Been taking a combination of powered piracetam and choline together, at a 1:1 ratio. (The taste is horrible!) I definitely have felt a difference, the best way to describe it is being "clear." I've felt an uplift in mood and thinking, my speech has enhanced too, it just seems to flow.
After browsing this forum, I've read piracetam is relatively weak and I may be experiencing these positive effects from the choline alone, from the increase in acetylcholine, which would be fine with me because I'd save money! So I'm thinking about going Choline alone by just buying the Alpha GPC. Thoughts?

Also, a lot of people need to realize that you won't feel a lot of nootropics at all, because you can't feel memory enhancement(working maybe, but consolidation? no), improved reasoning, small changes in mood, etc. Whereas you can feel vast increases in wakefulness, mood, confidence, or focus.

Yeah, memory enhancement is less of a feeling and more of a realization after a while of using the substance. Even then, the anecdotes are not very accurate. I'd say wakefulness is the least susceptible to bias, since the systems that control it are not consciously controlled. Mood is a tough one, because it's so subjective. Confidence and focus are noticeable, but very subject to your mood, which can skew results. Anecdotes are just tough to control for.
