Been taking a combination of powered piracetam and choline together, at a 1:1 ratio. (The taste is horrible!) I definitely have felt a difference, the best way to describe it is being "clear." I've felt an uplift in mood and thinking, my speech has enhanced too, it just seems to flow.
After browsing this forum, I've read piracetam is relatively weak and I may be experiencing these positive effects from the choline alone, from the increase in acetylcholine, which would be fine with me because I'd save money! So I'm thinking about going Choline alone by just buying the Alpha GPC. Thoughts?

I won the genetic roulette on piracetam and definitely notice its affects/effects at doses as low as 200 milligrams. Improves my recall and sharpens my visual/auditory acuity noticeably. Also increase my sensitivity to pain and discomfort. If find doses above 800mg a bit uncomfortable.
On the other hand I've taken a variety of acetylcholine precursors like DMAE, lecithin, choline and re-uptake inhibitors like HuperzineA and although it helps reduce headaches and improves my mood I've never noticed a change in memory, concentration or acuity.

200mg?!? Damn, that's low! I hate to bring up placebo, but are you sure the effects are due to piracetam? Have you done any measurable testing of the cognitive improvements?
