I found this Gem on Facebook "To All Parents: Keep your Children away from Reddit.com"

What they were answering

Twitter is/has become the same way as well. A few months ago I tried to get a better understanding of the service and was completely turned off by the people who used the service. If you where to step back and look at the over all thread here on the initial post you will see what I meant when I posted that this morning. It only takes common sense to see how dark Reddit really has become with the behavior the users show on the site. There is only a handful of people who posted here who were courteous enough to try to get a better understanding of where I was coming from on this discussion instead of just being completely vial to me. I plan on writing a blog post, which I will also post in this group, on my one day experience with Reddit and what I was able to take away from it.

To be fair, the internet as a whole has many rude and vial people on it. It's not just a Reddit thing. Anonymity gives people the ability to say whatever they want with no real recourse. That being said, /r/atheism is not a good subreddit to be in. I suggest if you are going to write a blog post, do it in a different subreddit like /r/AskReddit. You will get a more rounded response than what you got here.

CNN has an article from a Christian pastor about where god was during the Aurora CO Batman shootings; this is the first comment...and it's fucking brilliant

Replying to RyGuy2012 · That's sadly true. And depending on how low your self worth is, you may think you deserve the pain.

The times I was seconds from ending it, all I felt was absolute nothingness. There was no sadness, no pain, no fear; just nothing. The only thing left that kept me here was the distant respect I had for my girlfriend and

The only 100% effective way of preventing drowning is not going in the water.

Replying to jeppest · Just because it's a repost doesn't mean that everyone has seen it. Although I do think there should be reference to the original post or something.

There should be a tag, like the NSFW ones, for a repost.

These are the Christians on my feed... I think we need more like them.

Replying to [deleted] · I doubt it. People are already in line to pay for the food, meaning they have the money to do so. I find the whole concept rather obnoxious. It's the principle of the thing. I am

I agree, it's retarded. It's like a secret Santa party with fast food, where everyone chooses their own meal and another person pays for it. Now that I think of it, it's one of the most pointless and unimaginative "chari

Explaining fire to a Catholic

Replying to buckus69 · Build a man a house, and he is covered for a lifetime...teach him how to build a house, and it's alot easier?

You try teaching someone with no experience how to build a house. It ain't easy!

Do you take showers? The fallacy of equivocation. [Original content]

Replying to new_math · I don't want to be a dick but the biochemical and neural response that occurs from taking a shower is quite different from the biochemical and neural response that comes from takin

I was also upset that they grouped MDMA and Meth together! They both bind to neurotransmitter receptors in far different affinities! In a rant about improperly grouping things together, I would expect consistency!
