Why the difference in reviews on Reddit vs. Amazon for MicroMag?

Looking into sucrasomial magnesium and reddit raves about MicroMag yet the Amazon reviews list quite a few people saying it didn’t work for them digestively. The bad reviews are more than most other magnesium products. Yet far and wide it seems to be the most recommended brand for Sucrasomial. There are some other brands that got better reviews for Sucrasomial magnesium (Legion, Pure E) but yet I’ve heard more people praise Nootropics than the others. Anyone want to chime in on this?

i think the saffron example is a fair criticism of amazon in general. at the same time, it's always worth remembering that a brand talking about its own reviews is going to have some bias too. neither amazon reviews nor reddit comments are perfect, which is why i usually look for third party testing when i can.

You can't even trust that anymore. That's been commoditized and bought out now as well. There are so many labs out there giving brands the results they want to see. Some of the labs have actually been founded or bought out by digital marketers now. Even large seemingly well regarded labs are putting out fake/bad data. I won't say who, but you would be very surprised and upset to hear it. You literally can't trust anything anymore. This is why I have built my own lab, and I only trust my own stuff now. I've seen too much behind the curtain. Unless I can walk into the lab and speak directly to my own scientists running the machines, and look at the raw data myself, I don't trust it.
Now that doesn't help you at all. There's no way for you, or any average consumer, to navigate all this. Even just believing me right now requires you to trust what I am saying. I don't have an easy answer for what everyone should look for, or who to trust, unfortunately. I can tell you who you shouldn't trust, and that is about 90% of brands on the market.
