Why the difference in reviews on Reddit vs. Amazon for MicroMag?

Looking into sucrasomial magnesium and reddit raves about MicroMag yet the Amazon reviews list quite a few people saying it didn’t work for them digestively. The bad reviews are more than most other magnesium products. Yet far and wide it seems to be the most recommended brand for Sucrasomial. There are some other brands that got better reviews for Sucrasomial magnesium (Legion, Pure E) but yet I’ve heard more people praise Nootropics than the others. Anyone want to chime in on this?

ten years ago I used to pat myself on the back for checking out the 1 star reviews and if they seemed totally off the wall, and only then, and if there was a healthy amount of five star reviews, I'd purchase Putting a lot more faith in thousand+ reviews than a few dozen was another technique. I swear it started with the raspberry ketones after Dr Oz promoted them, and Indian call centers or whoever it was started writing hundred of reviews for pay. It got worse as a number of Chinese products flooded Amazon. Then there was an extension that examined the quality of the reviews. That was a lifesaver, I forget what it was called, Trustedsomething something. Of course they brought it behind the barn and shot it in the head like Old Yeller. And you can't even search for it now, it's buried in the enshttification of everything. If the web fails and we have to go back to newsgroups and gopherspace, I'd be happier. I'd rather deal with the uncertain text internet of those days that than the web now. Keep on truckin' MYASD!

I get it. These strategies work because of human psychology. I fall prey to it myself. When I am buying things outside of supplements, I have to stop myself from looking at reviews and reading reports on sites. It's all horseshit, I know that. I just have no way to know what is true or not in other industries. I just assume it is all lies, to be safe. With nutraceuticals, I know. I have the inside story from the background, and I can verify things myself. I guess I have the advantage that I am in consumer products, so I see the strategies being used in consumer products in general. This makes these schemes more apparent to me. For the average consumer? They don't stand a chance. Now with AI getting better, you are never going to be able to believe anything again. I really mean that. People's perceptions are being controlled by so many things they don't even realize exist. The next decade is going to get weird!
