A year ago, my (41M) “male health” stack was black ginger, 1 cap Cistamax, 2 caps Tribugen, and 1 tablet TA 10%. I immediately switched to 2 caps Eurycomax when it launched almost a year ago. The images show my testosterone and free testosterone comparison of early May last year to last week now on Eurycomax. I’m happy to report my own experiential perception of the swap matches the results!

It’s because it’s not actually kefir grains, they’re using specific strains they’re ordering and producing concentrated shots and drinks with. I think the milk or coconut base is basically just there to keep bacteria alive and to use as a carrier.

Even with concentrated cultures, the physics are brutal. Industrial freeze-dried probiotic concentrates typically max out at around 10¹¹ to 10¹² CFU/g (100 billion to 1 trillion per gram), and that's in a dry, powdered form with no moisture competing for space. A 2.5oz (74 mL) liquid shot that is mostly milk or coconut liquid cannot physically contain the same density as a dry powder. To hit 100 trillion CFU in 74g of liquid, you'd need roughly 1.35 trillion CFU/g, already at or above the absolute ceiling of the best industrial dry concentrates, in a wet format where stability and density are far worse. Then there is the major stability problem. Liquid formats are notoriously hostile to high CFU counts. Even if you inoculated the product at 100 trillion CFU at the moment of manufacture, moisture dramatically accelerates die-off, pH shifts during fermentation kill weaker strains, and without enteric coating or lyophilization, counts can drop 90–99% between production and consumption. So let's say we give them the benefit of the doubt, and they got the absolute best of the best strains at 1T CFU/g, fresh, tested, and ready to mix. Once they mix in the solution, they are losing MASSIVE amounts immediately after mixing. Then in the time it takes to package, store, and ship to customers, you are losing off most of what is left. Without testing, we won't know for sure, but I can absolutely say there is nowhere near 100T CFU in there when you consume it. There's nowhere near 1T in there when you consume it. We've just been doing a lot of analysis with probiotics, stability, CFU counts, and testing methodologies, so we are deeply aware of the limitations.
