1. The bioactives that this plant produces are closely related to compounds that are normally found in brightly colored berries, however, the plant in question does not produce berry-like fruits, and instead is a type of grass.
2. The U.S.A. has a long history of cultivating, and utilizing this plant. In fact, the U.S.A. is one of the biggest producers of this plant. That being said, the cultivar that we are utilizing, is very unique and is only cultivated in small amounts!

Just trying to tame my expectations :) I'm sure it's gonna be great! Since I'm personally rather interested in it for the sleep benefits, does the magnesium taurate work better for sleep than magnesium and taurine taken together in your experience? Or are its acute effects you mention rather a nootropic one?

Yes, because this is acetyltaurine, not taurine. It's like NALT vs. L-tyrosine. I am sure just like NALT, some people will react more/less to each one. I have actually combined Tauromag with taurine and L-theanine, and it was really nice!
