1. The bioactives that this plant produces are closely related to compounds that are normally found in brightly colored berries, however, the plant in question does not produce berry-like fruits, and instead is a type of grass.
2. The U.S.A. has a long history of cultivating, and utilizing this plant. In fact, the U.S.A. is one of the biggest producers of this plant. That being said, the cultivar that we are utilizing, is very unique and is only cultivated in small amounts!

I drank some last night! The issue isn't formula, but taste. I formulated what I thought was a great flavor, but everyone in the beta test group shit on it. It was really confused, because I am usually pretty spot on. I thought it was delicious, but everyone thought it was dog shit, so I went in to see what the deal was. I had been mixing my batches manually, so I could adjust each thing for the flavors. Everyone had beta tested a pilot scale batch. I went in and tasted the pilot scale batch, and sure enough... dog shit. People must have thought I was nuts saying it was a good flavor! LOL. So something happened during pilot scale up that we are trying to figure out. I had them mix up another unflavored pilot scale yesterday, and then I mixed in flavors manually again, and it was delicious. So I am going to go in and work with my formulators to do another flavored pilot scale run.
