Doubts about EGCG

Original post in this thread

Hi guys,

I'd like to take EGCG for dropping a few pounds (I've started also exercising) but I have a few questions:

1) Should I take it on empty stomach or after meals?

2) I've read that it could theoretically damage the liver (IIRC also kidneys). However I've seen that, at a dosage of one tablet a day, that should be safe. Can you confirm?

3) Does it combine well with caffeine? I usually drink also a cup of black or white tea a day? Would it be safe to take also EGCG?

4) Can I stack EGCG with Tribulus, creatine or C3G?

5) Does it help also with hay fever or other high histamine symptoms?

Hope that also /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb and /u/Pretty-Chill would chime in!

Thanks a LOT!

I take our EGCG tablets every day. I take reduced glutathione with it to support the liver, and some days take our low silychristin milk thistle

1) Empty stomach

2) Very very rare, but you can take other supplements to support the liver with it.

3) Yes, it combines very well if you want more stimulation.

4) Absolutely

5) I have not noticed that effect. I find quercetin works better for that. I take our quercetin phytosome every morning with the EGCG.

Replying to LifelessPolymath53 · Love that there’s a new Berberine! The silymarin had weird effect on me so I had to go with another brand.

I've switched to the new berberine as well. We are going to be reformulating our berberine/silymarin tablets soon with a new milk thistle extract we developed. We are also working on another completely different berberin

White Jelly Mushroom

So white jelly mushroom is a really cool one. The obvious effects people use it for are skin and joint health, due to the effect it has on collagen. However, I have found there is a nice subtle mood effect, too. I have n

Would Natrium's Immune Defense exert beneficial effects for someone who has contracted the coronavirus?

We can't make disease claims for legal and regulatory reasons. Also, COVID-19 is a novel virus. We are still learning about how best to tackle it. So even if we could make disease claims, the science is not settled on it
