Hello everyone! I want to preface by thanking all of you for your support over the years. We are only a few months away from the 11 year anniversary of me founding this company! As many of you know, we launched right here on Reddit, and Redditors have been a big part of making us who we are today. My journey founding and growing this company has been a rollercoaster, to say the least. My main mission from day one has been to advance the lab testing and quality control standards of the industry. That mission has never changed. If you have followed me over the years, you probably already know that has been a challenging mission. Challenging isn't even really a word that scratches the surface. The past decade has been some of the most difficult of my life. I am proud of all that we have accomplished, and the hurdles we have overcome. I might be beaten and bruised from that journey, but I am in no way defeated. I could not, and would not, still be here today pushing forward on that same mission without the support from all of you, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Now onto the main reason for this post. We have started the process of a complete redesign of our site. As with…

In addition to the filters and the enhanced info/ specs on each product please include filters that relate to their effect profile. ACHe, MAO-A or B (weak or strong), NMDA Antagoinst/Agonist, DRI, SSRI, Gaba-a PAM/ Agonist, etc, etc. I think the more specific the better, and it could be backed up with research and the additional info it sounds like you'll be including on the product summaries. Having to read the entire product description shouldn't be leaves a lot of accessibility on the table.
Would be awesome because it would let people cross reference effects from a product they like. Say "Rhodiola" is a weak MAOi, AMPK, cortisol. If you filtered on the same ones, you would be lead to Eutherero (and maybe others, off the top those two are very similar). If someone always responds poorly to AChE, they could filter that out and see a list (albeit small) of supplements that don't act on that pathway. It would be a great mechanism for both advanced and novice users to discover other products that may fit for them. I think finding overlap is the best way to learn about differents MOAs because it lets you cross-reference "feel".
I work on an internal catalog for all of IT at a bank and have seen some pitfalls over the years. I think you nailed the fact that the categories are self-limiting, and quite confusing for even someone who's familiar with your catalog. We use categories…

MOAs would be cool to have as filters. We would likely have to limit them, though. I am not sure we could cover every single MOA of every product, or the tag list will be crazy huge. We'd have to pare it down to the salient ones.
