Any side effects from Infini-B?
Original post in this thread

Been giving infini-b once a day to a parent who has hypothyroidism due to cancer treatment 20 years ago. She's on thyroxin.
She said today she felt like she had a silent heart attack and her BP skyrocketed... now obviously could be a coincidence but it was 30-40 mins after I gave her the capsule. I did some quick searching to find someone saying they had chest pains from infini-b (but post was deleted).
I think I'm going to stop giving it to her.
Personally I have no issues and find it to be a great supplement.
Guess this thread will get downvoted and possibly deleted because the cult of ND doesn't like any negative experiences lately, but it would be nice to rule it out.
Thanks.

I actually just stopped taking it yesterday cause I read about vitamin b6 toxicity. Apparently, it can build up to VERY toxic levels in the blood, also I believe in your brain. This causes a wide array of side effects and can be lethal. I’ve seen one report even of somebody being in a coma because of B6 supplementation. And others report side effects for months even after stopping B6, tremors, anxiety, muscle problems etc. There’s whole support groups for it even .. scary as heck. I threw it away immediately lol. Thank God nothing has happened to me as I was on it for about a month.

You are misunderstanding B6 toxicity. This is why all these pseudoscientific blogs and influencers online are so dangerous! B6 toxicity arises from taking too much pyridoxine. This is not an issue with the form we use, which is pyridoxal 5-phosphate.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK554500/
The doses they saw issues with were 1,000mg per day pyridoxine, which is insane! No study has shown toxicity at under 200mg/day. Our Infini-B has 16mg of vitamin B6, and it is in the form that is not an issue. Even the The US Food and Nutrition Board published a tolerable upper limit of B6 as pyridoxine of 100mg per day. Infini-B has 16mg in the P5P form. We did tons of research and formulation for Infini-B to ensure it was safe. Please don't read weird blogs online and then start throwing out your supplements till you look at the science. There are a lot of people and sites trying to scare people these days for clicks. It's a big problem.
