It's a cool bit of chemistry! Most people don't realize what gives molecules their colors. It's double carbon bonds that form chromophores. I wrote a big thing about it a few years back when we released Curowhite.

Curowhite are hydrogenated curcuminoids. They are different molecules than the other two. That's why they are non-staining. The chromophores have been removed by hydrogenation. https://nootropicsdepot.com/articles/curo
