What do you guys think of this fairly new study, in which 10 grams of Hericium Erinaceus for the duration of 4 weeks was useless in a young college cohort compared to placebo?

This is unrelated to this post but did you end up testing the Ajuga Turk extracts from Tonvara and Boldanic?? If so what were your findings?

Yes we did. The old Boldanic bottle we were sent contained 10.9mg of turkesterone. That was the bottles they made years ago that they don't sell anymore. A customer that had some sent it to us. I think it was called Exubol 200. It claimed to have 200mg of a 10% turkesterone extract. That would be 20mg of turk per capsule, so it had half of what it claimed. Still more than the rest, but failed for their claims. We tested their current offering, and it contained 2.9mg of turkesterone. I think they stopped making claims on it for turkesterone, so it can't really fail without claims. Both products contained almost the same amount of beta-ecdyterone as turkesterone. The Exubol 200 had 10.47mg beta-ecdysterone, and the current Exubol contained 2.79mg. So the Boldanic stuff had more turk than the other people we tested, but not to the levels they claimed to.
The Tonvara Ajugaturk claimed to have 400mg of a 10% extract per dose, which would be 40mg of turkesterone. We tested it and it only had 4.13mg per dose. So again, a fail per their claims. Almost 10X less than claimed.
The highest % turkesterone we have found so far is the old school Boldanic Exubol 200. It still did not meet its claims, but it had more turk than any other sample. It was also one of the OG bottles they made over 5 years ago. In fact, I think it was like a 2016 batch. That fits with some of the stories I have read on some bodybuilding forums. They were able to work with the Uzbek institute on their initial run they made, but then that relationship had a falling out, so they switched sources. Now everyone seems to be using either completely fake turk, or very low % with beta-ecdyterone in it.
