Interesting. When I search up "Saffron Nootropics Depot" on Amazon I can't find the fake listing anywhere. I have to specifically google "The Korner Shop Amazon" on google to find the profile.

It all depends on who "wins the buy box" as Amazon puts it. It's our listing, as we control the brand registry. However, other people can claim to sell off our listing, which is where the hijacking comes in. That's not always hijacking, though. It's hijacking in our case, as we don't allow others to sell our products, but other brands do. Let's say you are LG selling OLED TVs. You might setup the listing and sell them yourself, but you might have all sorts of stores and distributors that sell the exact same SKU. Those people can setup a listing under the LG ASIN, and bid on the buy box. If they win out, they show up first. LG has some control over that, but maybe one of their distributors wants to sell at break even to just get rid of the TVs they got, so they win the buy box because they are selling lower than everyone else. That's fine in LG's case, as they are real LG TVs being sold by real distributors. It's not fine in our case, as this Vietnamese company is not a real distributor of our products. They offer it at lower than our normal price, and then Amazon's systems let them win the buy box. We've opened cases with Amazon now, so perhaps that's why they are not showing up first anymore. Hard to say, as Amazon's support might as well be 10 monkeys sitting in a room in Bangalore.
