I saw another commenter mention a correlation between BDNF and brain cancer, is this something to take seriously? I’ve cycled 7,8 dhf, polygala, Lions Mane at recommended doses.

BDNF is a growth factor, so it being correlated with cancer makes sense. That doesn't mean it is a causative factor. Cancer is out of control growth of mutated cells. They are still cells, though. So things that help the growth of cells could also help the growth of unhealthy ones, too. That's why your immune system is crucial. Everyone gets cancer cells in their body every single day. They are just found and destroyed before they can get out of hand. ATP is correlated with cancer, but you need ATP to live. NGF is correlated with cancer, but you wouldn't exist without it. BDNF is needed for the healthy operation of the human body. BDNF is down-regulated in depression and other mood disorders. You want good levels of BDNF and TrKb activation. Cancer is also very complex. Many things can increase growth factors while also lowering cancer. All three of the things you mention taking have evidence that they reduce certain cancers.
