Can confirm iHerb shipping is FAST to the Netherlands. Ordered 27 Nov late at night, shipped same evening and arrived December 3 delivered at home -- 6 days (Geodis Wilson, DPD). VAT calculation is included when ordering and they take care of customs.
My ND order from Nov 25 arrived Dec 21 -- 26 days. And I had to make a separate customs payment, luckily I'd already found the notofication online via the tracking code; waiting for the paper notification would've added several days.

One thing to consider is the sheer size difference between iHerb and us. They are MASSIVE, and have 9 fulfillment warehouse around the world. My brother's friend actually works for a company doing coding for the automated warehouse picking machines they have. If you have not seen it, it's pretty crazy!

My team is fast, but we just don't have the capital or capabilities iHerb does. They specifically built that facility in Hebron Kentucky because it was close to the DHL international hub at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport. I put our facility close to the FedEx hub here in Tempe, but those packages still have to transit through Memphis before leaving the country. Right now our Asendia has to transit through California. They are put on FedEx ground trucks from Tempe to Cali, then sorted and go out from there. I think that trip from Tempe to Cali is causing a lot of the delays, as I don't think the Asendia packages have priority, so they just get there when they get there. We have a meeting this week with FedEx to talk about their lower cost international option. I think that might be a better solution, as we have a good relationship with FedEx for our domestic shipping. Those will get priority to go to the sorting center, and reduce transit times in the US before it leaves to the various countries. I don't think it will ever be as fast as if I had built our facility next to one of the international hubs in the US, though. I am hopeful it will be much better than our existing, but I said that about Asendia, too. They all promise the world, then fall off once you sign with them.
