Saffron is going to be polarizing. For the people it works for, they love it. For the people it doesn't, it's either that they don't feel anything or they don't like the side effects. Some people are turned off by the se

No reason it wouldn't be. I've also combined the saffron with L-pyroglutamic acid.

That's harder to say, as they are both acting on the 5-HT system. I would say be careful and speak to your doctor about it.

So you are getting too much stimulation from the saffron? In that case, combining with bacopa could be a good combo. I don't see any reason why there would be a problem stacking them. Maybe take a little L-tyrosine with

LOL, chop sticks! Hopefully they are disposable chop sticks! Is this the most recent batch? What's the lot number on the bottle?

Ohh interesting. So you are taking multiple per day, and only some are passing through? Very weird... So how they are formulated is the coating is insoluble at low pH. We test them for stability in simulated gastric flui

Kind of an antsy feeling. I guess it makes me more emotional, which might be good for some, but sometimes counterproductive for me.

It's hard to say without trying. Everyone is so different. You could always combine it with something like Apigenin to balance it.

That can be common for things that increase norepinephrine. Prozac (fluoxetine) is is actually an atypical SSRI, in that it also increases the concentration of norepinephrine and dopamine in the prefrontal cortex. Many p

I wouldn't say super rare. Saint John's Wort also raises 5-HT, DA, and NE. Rhodiola does, too. I would not consider saffron like an SSRI. I've seen no evidence that there are SSRI-like side effects or withdrawals with s

I've actually come around to our extract, too. I have been taking it a couple days a week, and I get similar effects to you. I think my issue is with too high of a dose, or every single day use.

Yep! We are similar. My issue is with every day dosing or too high of a single dose. One of our capsules 1-2 times a week works fine for me, too.

It's a bit muddied, for sure. We did a bunch of personal testing of various extracts, and we think that crocin is resulting in serotonin effects. We don't have direct scientific studies proving that, but the effects of s

Still in development. It's harder to source than it seems. I think there is a saffron mafia controlling things. No joke.

Organized crime controls a lot of high value plants around the world, actually. Polygala isn't really stimulating, but you will feel more energized after a few days of taking it.

I would say a combo of Sabroxy, DynaMAX Plus, CoQSol-CF, and NMN.

It's an NMDA antagonist and Sigma-1 agonist.

It depends on the actives you are looking at. Some of them in saffron activate DA and NE, and others activate 5-HT.

Safranal seems to inhibit the uptake of serotonin from the synapse.

The effects get better with daily use. If you want to cycle, you can do longer ones. Maybe take a week off every few months to assess how you feel back at baseline.
I want to let everyone know that Derek and I have been conversing about the situation privately. He did let me know that he had to make a video to get in front of the situation, because things were blowing up. However, h

Yes, we have a lot in the works, including with saffron. The science just takes time. We are working on a lot of optimization projects on various plants & mushrooms right now. We have some pretty cool stuff in store, not
I did some trials on that. I wanted to try making our own generic instead. The saffron industry is so full of fraud and fake saffron, it's nuts.
