It absorbed water from air and now looks like raw shilajit. How can I reliably weigh the dosage now?

Moisture. Happens with a fungus powder extract.

A lot of it depends on how concentrated of an extract it is, and what % of the extraction solvent used was water. This is why I laugh when I see companies saying they are selling a 50:1 extract of lion's mane or shit like that. It's impossible. They don't exist. It would be as hard as a diamond before you could ever even take it. It's why our lion's mane is an 8:1. We tried a 10:1 early on, but it was too unstable to be usable. It's not just fungi, either. Certain plants have the same issue. The only way around it is to mix in stabilizers, but people freak out over that. Most people prefer pure powder with no additives, so that's what we stick to. We have switched to white HDPE jars and bottles for some of these hygroscopic things, which does help. However, a sealed glass mason jar with large desiccant would be ideal for people in humid climates.
