Are Immuse, Epicor, and/or Immune defense counterproductive for someone with an autoimmune disorder or do any/all of these products focus on modulating the immune system?

Hypothetically speaking, could any of these products potentially be helpful or harmful with someone who has an autoimmune disorder (IE: crohns)? I am not sure if the products I mentioned primarily boost or modulate the immune system. Thoughts?

Thanks for your reply. My mind is blown by the diagnosis. I'm 39 and fairly healthy (work out daily, not overweight, get good sleep, low stress, etc). However, I do live in a big city directly off of a highway with constant auto pollution. I'm starting to discover that peoples diets and flare up foods differ for each person who has Crohn's. So I could see how immune boosting supplements could react differently even amongst various people with Crohn's. The hardest part for me has been figuring out what I can and can't eat because some foods can cause a flare sometimes but not other times. I struggle with a doc telling me there is no cure. I'm thinking about going pescatarian and ultimately want to start intermittent fasting. However, my primary goal is to gain weight now because I'm underweight due to Crohn's. I'm going to do whatever it takes to get this under remission.

Apologies for the blob of random thoughts. For now, I'm going to use a few specific probiotic strains and take it slow with adding anything else. My wife has been sick and taking my Immuse anyways.

Probiotics are definitely a good idea. I would suggest Visbiome or Udo's Choice Super 8. I have had good luck with both.

For food, it can be a pain in the ass. I have a friend with Crohn's and it can seem random sometimes. I have found that many people with IBS and Crohn's have less issues eating in Europe. I think the way a lot of food is grown here in the US is a problem for a lot of people. It might be useful for you to find some locally grown organic food. It's a pain in the ass depending on where you live, but I do think cultivars and growing conditions affect people's GI issues a lot.
