Are Immuse, Epicor, and/or Immune defense counterproductive for someone with an autoimmune disorder or do any/all of these products focus on modulating the immune system?

Hypothetically speaking, could any of these products potentially be helpful or harmful with someone who has an autoimmune disorder (IE: crohns)? I am not sure if the products I mentioned primarily boost or modulate the immune system. Thoughts?

/u/misteryouaresodumb thoughts? I realize the immune system and autoimmune disorders are extremely complex. Just wondering if you have any thoughts..

The immune system is for sure a very complex thing. It would be reasonable to assume that some immune supplements might have paradoxical reactions for people with autoimmune disorders. I have heard of some people with IBS and Crohn's not reacting well to Epicor, or having to take a lower dose. Immuse is pretty new, so I am not sure if there is the data to say one way or another. However, how it works is basically taking plasma from a specific strain of Lactococcus lactis and having it signal the body to activate the immune system a bit. I could see it causing too much activation in some people with autoimmune disorders. However, the only real way to know how an individual will react to something is to try it, unfortunately. It's hard to predict how a specific person will react.
