Looking to grab some LM for use in Stamet's microdosing protocol.
Anyone use both brands and can compare the 2?

Can you follow me up with hericenones or erinacines? I am very new to Lions mane. To improve nerve growth factor we would want hericenones or erinacines? if ND doesn't have either what does it mean?

Both hericenones and erinacines affect NGF. Till recently, the only human clinical research on lion's mane used the fruiting bodies, not the mycelium. Now there are a couple studies that were recently released on lion's mane mycelium. We actually work with the organization that released those studies. I have tried the exact extract used in those studies, in fact. It feels much different than fruiting body extracts. I actually did not like it. It was too dysphoric for me. I am sure it helps people with depression though, as the studies indicate. It may just not be for everyone. I've also tried our own super potent mycelium extract standardized to erinacine-A specifically. That was really really nice. Nothing else out there feels anything like it. Our 8:1 also is a good one, but in a different way. It's more in line with the bulk of the human clinical research. Anyone saying one specific extract or fungal part is for sure the best is either lying or misunderstands the complexity of the science. I can also tell you that many of our competitors are making fake claims for hericenones and erinacines. We've tested them in the lab, though. They contain none, and the lab they are using is a fraudulent dry lab. Anyone can make any claims they want on a product. Unless they are backed with validated analytical chemistry, they are just numbers on a label.
