Why is the Lion's Mane 8:1 powder more expensive than the capsules?

On a per serving basis, assuming the serving is 500 mg, the capsules, weirdly enough, seem to be cheaper than the powder itself. That's only the case for Lion's Mane 8:1. Every other powder/capsule comparison seems to be slightly cheaper for the powder, which makes sense.
Lion's Mane 8:1 180ct (500 mg/capsule) = $79.99 ===> 1 capsule \~ $0.44
Lion's Mane 8:1 60g Powder = $54.99 ===> 1 500 mg serving \~ $0.46
Sorry for being a total noob. Am I missing something? Please let me know if I'm wrong.

I see. Yeah, it makes sense, but why did this not apply to Reishi, for example? Reishi is also available in 60g and 180ct options, and the 60g option is cheaper per serving. I might be missing something here. Thank you for the info 🙌🏻

Normally they are. We recently had some supply chain issues with lion's mane 8:1 that we did not have with reishi, so I think we were modifying pricing on the lion's mane and forgot to adjust one of the sizes after it was worked out.
