What patented ingredients do you have reject batches due to not meet specs?

I can't really put them on blast like that, especially since we have confidentiality contracts with them. It's less common with patented ingredients, but it does happen. Sometimes we decide to not even carry a specific patented ingredient in the first place because of testing irregularities. These days we do a bunch of testing and lab work before we even consider offering a new patented ingredient. This is why it took us so long to release Shoden. Now we prove the claims in the lab ourselves before we will put our name behind them. If they don't stack up to the claims, we don't even start offering them.
