Thank you for this, I really believe in your mission to create a higher safety standards for the nootropic companies. However, Does a small difference in purity really affect how a person receives the benefits from a nootropic? it seems like it would be negligible. The magnesium threonate (magtein) that I am currently taking has a good manufacturing process certificate, so I am not sure if changing to lets say ND magtein would give me a better benefit, given that the price of ND is a little higher if that make sense. In your experience, do you think that the brand matters when it comes to terms of receiving the fuller benefits of the compound your taking?

For many of our products? Absolutely! For a patented one like Magtein? No, probably not. Magtein is all distributed by AIDP. They control it all, and everyone selling it should get the same thing, in theory. We still test all the patented products ourselves, though. So they still have to meet our stringent ND specifications. However, we have never rejected a Magtein batch. AIDP does a good job of consistency. So you would only buy Magtein from us if you want to support us and what we are doing. We also manufacture the capsules to tight tolerances as well. That could be a difference you will find. We have tested competitors' Magtein capsules before, and found them under-dosed. I suppose that could be a difference you could feel.
For our other non-patented products, you are absolutely going to find a difference in efficacy between ours and our competitors. I do a lot of personal testing on products when we bring them out. That includes me personally taking other competitor's products to compare. We always formulate our products to be more potent and effective. We don't just bring out the same thing as everyone else. We take what they are doing and make it better. So our tongkat ali, or NMN, or EGCG, or epicatechin are going to be more potent and effective than others. It's hard to compare like for like when we are doing things to a higher level. However, there is less likelihood on a patented product like Magtein. Take one of the capsules from the other brand and dump it onto a milligram scale to see how much is in there. See if they are filled properly. If so, they are likely fine.
