Spring Valley sleep aid formula looks like a good night time stack but... 10mg melatonin??

My normal sleep stack 1.5 to 2 hrs before bed is:
* .5mg melatonin
* 200mg magnesium (chelated, all I can find in store)
* 500mg Valerian root extract
The spring valley stack looks promising except one thing:
* 25mg Magnesium Chelate
* 100mg L-theanine (I usually take this in the day with my caffiene)
* 75mg chamomile extra (I sometimes drink tea at night but find it doesn't do much)
* 50mg Gaba
* 50mg Passion Flower Extract
* 50mg Lemon Balm
* 50mg Hops extract
* 10mg Melatonin
Jesus christ on a bicycle, 1mg of melatonin will give me a hangover and they're putting 10 in this stuff? Would this pre-fab stack be worth trying, or just keep adding to my own?

Lol, so basically it's a super high dose of melatonin that's more expensive.
Thanks for the breakdown. I'm still learning. My sleep stack works pretty well so far.

My pleasure! Melatonin is best at 300mcg for sleep. Some people are using high dose melatonin as an antioxidant, but that's too high for sleep. If your stack is working, no sense in messing with it.
