does ECGC/green tea extract make you tired?

What they were answering

fallsdownwelles · 5 points

It doesn't make me tired, I'm on my second bottle and I take daily. I recently started taking it with the Quercetin tablets and now I notice it gives me a light energy boost actually!

I don't believe it has caffeine but I could be wrong. It doesn't feel the same as drinking a cup of green tea with caffeine so if it does, I imagine it's a very small amount.

The EGCG is decaffeinated. It doesn't contain any caffeine. The stimulation you are feeling is from the quercetin. That has affinities for the adenosine receptors like caffeine.

What do you think about ECGC enteric coated from ND ?

I take it every day myself. I would not classify it as a stimulant, though. It definitely increases fat burning. I have noticed that, as have multiple people in our office. However, it's not going to feel like caffeine.

1g quercetin to much ? Or is it ginger extract ?

Replying to iwantmyownname · Try them separately and gauge how you feel, quercetin just makes me a little stimulated, could be the magnesium tho 1g/day is likely a bit much also likely to get more side effect

Quercetin is definitely stimulating for many people. It has adenosine affinities like caffeine does, and can push things towards too stimulating at certain dosages or with certain combos.
