Got charged \~£15 VAT from Customs on a recent order. Do you ever plan on shipping international orders in separate parcels/declaring a lower value to avoid VAT charges?

Last time i ordered a package from nootropicsdepot every value was declared as the price it was on the ND website, however another time each item was declared as 10$ if my memory serves me right.
