Curious question: Agmatine dose per capsule is low. Is there a reason?

This is just a curious question. Most brands out there that sell “agmatine” commonly sell 500mg capsules, while ND sells 250mg capsules. Are nootropic benefits found at this low of a dose? I just hear from many users that it may take up to 1-2g of agmatine to reach some sort of therapeutic effect. So I was wondering why the capsules are in the lower side.

Could you please clarify what dosage range is nootropic and which is mood related?

Generally 250mg is the nootropic dose, and 750mg-1g is the more common mood dose.
