Curious question: Agmatine dose per capsule is low. Is there a reason?

This is just a curious question. Most brands out there that sell “agmatine” commonly sell 500mg capsules, while ND sells 250mg capsules. Are nootropic benefits found at this low of a dose? I just hear from many users that it may take up to 1-2g of agmatine to reach some sort of therapeutic effect. So I was wondering why the capsules are in the lower side.

I would appreciate a 500mg. The first one I tried (from a competitor) was 500; when I switched to yours I thought it was ineffective, then I compared the dosages and compensated by taking more. I don’t know why I missed that detail when I ordered; I guess I stupidly assumed that 500 was the standard.

500mg scored tablets would actually be ideal, because then people could break them in half if they wanted 250mg, or leave them whole for 500mg.
