[Request] There is a very powerful skin supplement called Nicadan - would ND be interested in making a "generic"?

Well, the last time I checked, the in-patient cost for a tablet of paracetamol in US is usually $200-300 and I don’t think they use something that is spiked with some magic opiate for in-hospital version of paracetamol, so it must be the same kind of 100% US-specific insurance/medical cost BS. My laymen opinion is that’s probably a snake oil that could be marginally useful for people living on McCheeseburger with extra large fries and Coke every single meal.

Those are bullshit prices that nobody pays. Nobody actually pays $200-$300 for a tablet of paracetamol. Medical billing is idiotic, and they inflate the costs to obfuscate what insurance companies and cash payers actually pay. It makes for good headlines, but nobody actually is paying those initial prices; the least of all insurance companies. It also benefits insurance companies, because then it makes it look like they are saving you more money than they actually are. A good estimate is 15-20% of the bill is what is actually paid. Sometimes, if it is a big enough insurance company with leverage, they only pay 10% of the total listed. It's a total scam, but that's how it works.
Regarding this product, they are doing the business model that Xymogen is. They make shitty "stacks" and convince health practitioners to sell them to their patients for a big margin. Patients generally trust their doctors, so they are more willing to pay the higher prices. Plus, the higher price makes people think they are more effective than they actually are.
