What do you take EGCG for? Is there any concern over its issues causing liver damage?

I am using it for its AMPK effects, which help with fat loss and increasing insulin sensitivity. And no, no concern over liver toxicity. I spoke about it on the comment linked by /u/umbrella_term. Also, EGCG and green tea has been used by millions of people for thousands of years. There are only a handful of reported liver issue cases, and there is variability in the findings. I just had a liver function test done, and I was perfectly fine, and I have been taking our EGCG tablets every day for a while.
