Fascinating! I didn’t know it wasn’t supposed to be pink and thought that tint had a bit of charm. Reminds me of fancy pink salts.

"supposed to be" is kind of arbitrary. It was always pink back in like 2013-2015. Then syntheses changed, and it started coming white half the time. We tried to figure it out then, but we did not have the equipment or expertise to solve it. Then eventually all batches were white. Pink has been unavailable for a while. Now we know why. The pink crystallization step is less efficient, so labs switched to the more efficient one. It does affect the crystal structure, though. So I think having both options will be good for people. Some prefer the white, while others prefer the pink. I have not figured that one out yet. LOL
