8:1 Lion's Mane is on its way, when should I take the recommended 2 capsules?

Some info in case it may be pertinent:

When I wake up I take caffeine + L-theanine.

After an hour, I start taking Bacopa + ALCAR.

I workout and then take my meal + usual vitamins and fast until the next day.

I then take my Magnesium L-Theornate once in the afternoon and then twice an hour before bed (as instructed by the NOW Foods bottle), the latter dose with Ashwagandha. (I still wonder if I should take all of these around meal time instead just in case it's okay and so I don't break my fast/autophagy).

Anyway, when should I take my ND Lion's Mane? Thank you very much!

Lion's mane keeps me up on occasion so I tend to take it with Cordyceps extract & freshly powdered Wisconsin ginseng in water as an after-lunch pick-me-up.

That's a good strategy, too. Cordyceps certainly keeps me up. So I reserve that for the daytime.

Replying to ebowden · Have there been studies directly comparing the chemical composition of extracts of the mycelium and fruiting bodies, and comparing the in vivo effects of these extracts?

Chemical composition studies, yes. No in vivo human studies of lion's mane mycelium, though. Also, no animal studies that compare fruiting body to mycelium in the same study. Also, no studies on mycelium on grain. This i
