4:1 extract- can someone help me please?

Hi everyone I hope you are all well.

Let's day i want to by a herbal supplement on capsule form.

1 brands label just states
500mg of the herb

The second brand says

(Herb name) 4:1 extract 500mg

Can someone tell me difference please? I think the extract one may mean that it has 125mg of powder in the capsule?

Which one is best to buy?

Neither of them. Both are statistically shitty products. Anyone that uses language like "125mg of this 4:1 extract provides 500mg of the active ingredient because it is so potent. Does that make sense? The product is so potent that it provides x 4 the amount of weight" is totally bullshit. Don't use anything from that brand ever.
