It depends on the supplement in question, what you are taking alongside it, what your supplementation goals are and interactions between your supplements and food. Sorry a lot of stimulation on Reddit in general for me-ha so I would pose another scenario to you my friend (so I chose this spot instead of trying to find out where it should actually be placed) if you get a chance and see this.
MAOI effects from taking yall's Polygala along with Vyvanse or Adderall.
A month or so ago you gave me a nice list I still use based on my own personal ADHD and taking Adderall XR once a day.
I guess the question would be, is there any quick answer you can give me or whomever else that would read this if there are any negative side effects, short or long term...
And the reason I'm asking you is because I have noticed zero side effects and have been taking Poly for about a month now. And that stuff/herb is the bomb.
Thank you if you're able to respond, if not I understand.
Keep chugging my friend keep chugging 🌟🌌🌟

Polygala is not a strong or irreversible MAOI. The compound people talk about with polygala, 3,6′-disinapoyl sucrose, does lower MAOI activity when it is raised. However, it does not do it by blocking it. It seems to do it by modulating 5-HT, cAMP-CREB, and NE.
