Yeast extract/EpiCor decreasing NGF?

Having previously taken EpiCor, I was looking to buy more from ND, and after doing some research, came across a thread that stated that EpiCor decreased NGF in rats. That is actually in the product's copy. Curious, especially if u/MisterYouAreSoDumb could provide any insight.
It doesn't seem like decreasing NGF would be ideal, but certainly due to the study, this could be a modulatory effect. Also curious if there is any risk of hormonal or sexual side-effects given similarities that I understand these have with certain properties of mushrooms (I recall reading that reishi can have long-term sexual side effects).
I'd be grateful for any insight!

Regarding NGF and inflammation: Lion's Mane usually causes general inflammation for me. Could pairing Epicor with it offset the inflammation?

Really? That's super interesting! You are the first person to report that to me!
So what I would do would be Epicor for the GI part. Then I would do palmitoylethanolamide, Longvida, and nigella sativa for systemic.
