Why use nootropics and other dangers.

Hi all
So this thread is a bit of a call out, something I normally wouldn't do but feel it needs to be done. The current top thread in this subreddit is someone's reviews of the bunch of nootropics they've done which I think is great, we should all try to share as much info as possible to help others here.
What is unfortunate though is that this review has mentioned nearly nothing of the cognitive enhancements offered by these substances and instead focused on the depression/anxiety/drug addiction benefits of them. That's not a bad thing to learn about these side benefits but we now have a bunch of people that are self-diagnosing and medicating with nootropics then saying which nootropics are bad because they didn't cure their depression or anxiety, rather than reviewing the nootropic effect of the substances.
These people then take double, triple or ten times the recommended dose trying to get results, stacking multiple nootropics at a time and then creating shitpost after shitpost, all getting deleted, until eventually they've reviewed 33 substances in about 3 months time.
I remembered seeing this account post months ago and having their posts deleted multiple times from…

Follow /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb for a while or check out some of his posts about his company and lab. I'd trust the legitimacy of his products over pretty much anything over-the-counter and would put him on the same level as big pharma when it comes to testing.

The guy above you is right to not be confident in many of the 3rd party lab results. I don't trust them, either. We have only a very small group of ISO labs we trust and work with, and even then we only work with them on a certain number of methodologies and tests. A lot of what we do these days is all in our in-house lab. When we do use a 3rd party lab, we get packets of data and validations from them on the results, and even have visited their facilities and audited their lab to make sure things are being done right. The scientists on my team are always the one looking at the data and making the ultimate decision if the results fit our parameters. We don't just get a number from a lab and go about our day. We get the data and interpret it ourselves. The onus is on me and my team to ensure things are correct every time. If we just rely on people outside our company to give us a thumbs up/thumbs down, that's not living up to that responsibility, in my opinion. My team knows what I expect of them, and they are in constant meetings with me about the details of testing or results. I am personally the one to approve or disapprove things if there is a question on them. I look at all the data, and have long discussions with my team on it. Nothing gets approved without me knowing all the details about the batch, the testing done, and the results of that testing. If there is ANY question on it, I hold for more data or reject the batch. If something gets passed and gets to customers, my personal reputation is on the line just as much as the company. So I take that very seriously. I value the trust people have put in me more than anything else. It's taken almost a decade of blood sweat and tears to gain the level of trust that people have put in me. No way am I throwing that away by cutting a corner. Everything we do is centered around the lab. Everything we do is to accomplish the mission I started years ago: to advance the testing and analytical standards of the entire industry.
