That depends on how it was stored. If it was stored in a cool and dry place away from sunlight, it is probably fine. Have you opened it yet?

Yeah, you should be all good. The root is a lot more finicky with moisture and heat. The leaf is very stable.

That's only the root. Ginseng root would likely not be super usable after a couple years. The ginseng leaf is very stable, though. That seems to be what OP has.
